Date
Saturday March 20 2027Description
The trip begins on March 20 with the flight to Tokyo, which you book yourself, and arrival follows the next day. A transfer waits for you at the airport to reach the hotel. Three days follow in the capital, at the time of year when the city's cherry trees are getting ready to bloom. The group holds eight to twelve people, not one more, and a French-speaking tour leader walks with you from the first day to the last.
The road then opens toward Mount Fuji, Matsumoto, Takayama and the village of Shirakawa-go. It runs down to Hiroshima and the island of Miyajima, before four days in Kyoto, the former capital. Fifteen days and fourteen nights in all, from March 20 to April 3, 2027.
Travel is by private coach and by shinkansen, the high-speed train, and luggage moves on its own between some stages. One night is spent in a ryokan, the Japanese inn, with its onsen bath and its kaiseki dinner. Twenty-five meals are included, and local French-speaking guides lead the visits.
International airfare is not included in the displayed price. You book it with your Voyages Synergia advisor, which leaves you free to choose the airline, the routing and the arrival date. Both transfers are included: the one from Tokyo airport to the hotel on March 21, and the one from the hotel to Osaka airport or Kyoto station on April 3. The return flight leaves from Osaka and brings you back to Canada the same day, thanks to the time difference.

FAQ
The tour runs 15 days and 14 nights, from March 20 to April 3, 2027. March 20 is the day of the flight to Tokyo, which you book yourself, and arrival in Japan is on March 21. On April 3, the return flight leaves from Osaka and brings you back to Canada the same day, thanks to the time difference. The group departs on that date, but you can arrive earlier or extend the stay: your advisor arranges those extra days as a personalized trip.
No. The price of $12,600 per person in double occupancy covers the tour in Japan, without the round-trip flight from Canada. Your Voyages Synergia advisor books that flight with you, which leaves you free to choose the airline, the routing and the arrival date, and lets you use your points if you have them. Both transfers are included in the package: from Tokyo airport to the hotel on March 21, and from the hotel to Osaka airport or Kyoto station on April 3.
The group is limited to 12 people and requires a minimum of 8. A dedicated French-speaking tour leader travels with the group from the first day to the last, and local French-speaking guides lead the visits.
The tour is set in the season when the cherry trees bloom in Japan, and it crosses several regions, from Tokyo down to Hiroshima, which improves the chances of catching the bloom somewhere along the way. No one can guarantee it, however: the timing shifts by a few days to two weeks from one year to the next, depending on the weather and the region.
Twenty-five meals are included, among them a kaiseki dinner, the traditional meal served at the ryokan. The day-by-day detail is given to you with the final itinerary. Meals and drinks outside the program remain at your expense.
The single occupancy supplement is $1,990 per person, which brings the price to $14,590 per person, still without international airfare.
The deposit is $2,000 per person at the time of booking. The balance is due on January 14, 2027, which is 65 days before departure. Your Voyages Synergia advisor reminds you of the deadline and handles the payment with you.
The rate of $12,600 per person in double occupancy holds until departure on March 20, 2027, subject to availability. The group takes only 12 participants, and seats still unsold are released on March 5, 2027. In practice, it is better to book before that date.
